About Us
Swiss Finance Startups was founded in May 2014 in Zurich by a group of pioneers of the Swiss fintech industry to create synergies, join forces, drive innovation, inspiration and change in the world’s financial epicenter. SFS is a non-profit organization run and organized by the ventures involved.
More than 120 fintech startups and more than 50 partners have already teamed up under the umbrella of Swiss Finance Startups. Together they foster the common Swiss innovation spirit and are at the forefront of the digitalization of the financial industry.

Swisscom becomes first main sponsor.
August 2015
Swiss Finance Startups hosts the first politics panel with Holger Spielberg (Credit Suisse), Jacqueline Badran (SP), Urs Häusler (DealMarket), Andreas Kubli (UBS) and Rino Borini (financialmedia)
October 2015
Swiss Finance Startups and financialmedia host the first Fintech Nite in Switzerland. Swiss Finance Startups conducted the first Swiss Fintech Study together with Roland Berger to analyze the market.
May 2nd, 2016
SFS celebrates the first Swiss Fintech & Digitization Day supported by special guests such as the President of the Swiss Confederation Johann Schneider-Ammann and Zurich Mayor Corine Mauch.
May 2016
Swiss Finance Startups opens an operational office and implements Christina Kehl as Managing Director. The association counts more than 80 member startups and confirms partnerships with UBS, Leonteq, SwissLife, McKinsey and others.
