The SICTIC Investor Day is a match making event where Internet startups pitch to find experienced investors and supporters. The event language is English. Questions from the audience are also taken in French and German (and translated if necessary). The event schedule and concept page has more details.
The event will start on Wednesday, 22.03.2017 at 16:15 with an angel training (for business angels only) and at 17:15 the official event will start. It will be held at PIRATES HUB, Pfingstweidstrasse 51, 8005 Zürich. Nearest Tram stop is Technopark.
The doors will open at 16:00 for start-ups (to set-up their tables), the angel training will start at 16.15 – 16:45 and doors are open at 16.45 for investors and supporters of the main event. The apero will start around 19:30.
The pitching event is preceded by an Angel Training Event starting at 16:15 (for business angels only)
Marc P Bernegger, Swiss-based entrepreneur and investor, will talk about being a Fintech investor since 2010. As one of the first venture capitalists in 2010, the experiences he will share include Next Generation Finance Invest, successful investments like ayondo and activities at FinLeap in Berlin.

This SICTIC Investor Day is a match making event focused on unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones and Traveltech. Startups from both Germany and Switzerland in the UAV, drone and Traveltech sector will pitch to find experienced investors and supporters. In this unique investor day each startup will have time for a six minute pitch followed by a Q&A session. The event language is English. Questions from the audience are also taken in French and German (and translated if necessary).
The event will start on Tuesday, 28.03.2017 at 17:15 and will be held at IATA, Route de l’Aéroport 33, 1215 Genève, Switzerland. The pitching event is preceded by an Angel Training Event by Christian Janke starting at 16:15 (for business angels only)
Christian Janke is an instructor with Embry-Riddle’s Worldwide Campus and an Assistant Professor in the College of Aeronautics. Christian instructs at courses about Unmanned Systems in multi-domain-environments and their applications. He has been in military service for 14 years as air operations officer and helicopter pilot. He served in several multinational staff deployments, responsible for Public Affairs and Strategic Communication. He is an auditor for quality management, also a trainer for Human Factors & Crew Resource Management and an instructor for Safety Management and Risk Assessment. Christian’s research focus is on Unmanned Systems, robotics and autonomy. Especially in Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) he focuses on their capabilities, protection against misuse, business models, and regulatory environment. In this function he is a Research Fellow at the European Aviation Security Center. Christian Janke will be present the entire event.
